Downtown Woodstock welcomed its newest retail store last weekend, Queen B’s Boutique & Studio, and like most small businesses we write about, the story behind the store is just as important as what’s on the shelves.
Boutique owner Brittany Bond opened Queen B’s Boutique & Studio this month to honor the memory of her Mother. After losing her mother Betsy to ALS in 2017, Brittany launched “Betsy Rocks Jewelry” — handmade jewelry from which a portion of the proceeds go back to the ALS foundation for research and awareness. Since her mother was diagnosed in 2015, Brittany has helped to raise over $80,000 for ALS and has no intention of slowing down.
Queen B’s Boutique and Studio carries unique, handmade pieces of jewelry — no two pieces are alike. Brittany can make custom pieces to match a certain outfit, to match a bridal party, or any other special occasion.
There are also some local vendors inside of the boutique: My Symphony Seasonings, selling herbal teas, and Preston Productions, selling bath bombs and hair bows.
Brittany also makes gift baskets starting from $30-$50 that make perfect grab-and-go gifts.
