For the second year in a row, Marietta Square will host a massive New Year’s Eve event. If you attended last year, you may have witnessed the human ball drop! This year, they had #thinkoutsidethebox for ideas of what should be dropped from their cube; so only a few more days until we know!
This is more than just a New Year’s Eve ball drop. Their will be an 18 hole Glow in the dark putt putt course, a place to write your hopes for 2017 on an expanded Resolution Wall, and many children’s activities such as carnival games, escape room competition, and on stage demonstrations. The children’s day will be capped off with surprise guests and the Children’s Cow Drop where you could win Chick-fil-A for a year! If you haven’t purchased your cow, you can that day at the Chick-fil-A tent.
Come and dance the night away until the magical moment as their will be a variety of music for the evening including ABC Band and Douglas Cameron Orchestra.
For those staying for the later events, you can expect a street party including food and beer trucks, live kiss cam, glow in the dark golf, escape room, college football playoff game broadcast live on 25+ ft TV, and local restaurants and pubs staying open late. Follow them on Facebook for more information.
