Ever have one of those “I could make that!” moments? That’s exactly how Michelle Weyant began her business, MW Designs. After seeing decorative coasters in specialty shops, Michelle tried her hand at making her own tumbled marble coasters that represent people, events or places. These beautiful, hand-crafted creations are made one at a time, and in Michelle’s words, are a true “labor of love.”
Featuring most of her own original photography, Michelle has created coasters for several local establishments. Coasters can be made featuring a company logo or images that are unique to their establishment. Her collection of coasters made for Serenbe, a farm-to-table organic community outside of Atlanta, uses images of the beautiful scenery on their property.
Michelle can craft coasters for just about any occasion you can think of: holidays, weddings, business logos or simple family photos are just a few of the subjects she has used for coasters. Her products can be found in locations in Roswell, Alpharetta and Serenbe. Visit her website for a full listing or for custom orders. And be sure to tell her that Scoop sent you!
