The popular Roswell establishment, Meating Street Barbeque, is closing. In an email to valued customers, owners Brian and Joanna Keenan stated:
On Saturday, December 15th, Meating Street BBQ will be serving its final lunch at 1294 Alpharetta St. in Roswell. We will be open from 11am until Sold Out. All beer $2 all day until gone.We are so extremely grateful for the support you, our customers, have shown us, as well as the encouragement of the entire Roswell Community. We hope you will join us Saturday to celebrate all that was, and what will be.
In an email correspondence with our food guru Joe Duffy, owner Brian Keenan said:
The parking situation drained us over the summer and we’ve never recovered from the sales lost to disappointed customers who couldn’t park after careful plans to visit. We will recover and intend on looking into another location.
Keenen also said “The Dream is not Dead!” So stay tuned to his newest location announcement — hopefully soon! Of course when they do open back up, you have to get there early before he sells out of his award-winning meats from his outdoor smoker.
