According to their Facebook page: Joella’s was named in honor of two legendary employees of a bygone era, Joe and Miss Ella. Back then it was all about tradition, hard work, and a deep bond of family. Today, they honor these classic traditions by staying true to our roots with scratch cooking that brings out the flavors of our Southern-honored recipes. Starting with fresh, all-natural chicken, they give it “spirit” by adding different levels of spice blends creating a flavor explosion. All of their authentic entrees are made to order and when paired with our hand-made sides, desserts and sweet tea, it can only end with pure happiness.
We’re proud to do our part in preserving these culinary legacies, and thank Miss Ella who always said, “Honey, always do the right thing.”
The first one could open later this fall. The Cumberland location at Akers Mill Square on Cobb Parkway. The Kennesaw restaurant is located at 840 Ernest Barrett Parkway. Woodstock is located at 188 Molly Lane and Newnan at 580 Bullsboro Drive.
