The Daily Draft Sports Bar Planned for Downtown Woodstock

Rootstock & Vine Owner Sean Daily says he heard the question weekly, “When is downtown Woodstock going to get a sports bar?”

The opportunity arose when PLAE gym moved from 8594 Main St to another downtown Woodstock location. The vacated spot was prime downtown real estate and with the help of investors, he secured the location for The Daily Draft Tap Room and Bar, a play on his last name.

Daily is excited to bring a unique sports bar to the downtown area with both a walk up bar facing Main Street and a pour yourself 30 variety tap wall. Daily said:

This restaurant will be beer centric with a strong variety of taps. There will also be some future surprises to make this restaurant truly a unique addition to downtown.

The open floor plan will have a combination of seating and casual standing and gathering areas. The floor to ceiling tv will be a focal point and high definition TVs will be seen from all locations.

The space will keep the character of the building and repurpose the wood for a blended look of restored and modern. Once the City Council approves the plan at the end of the month, the goal is to open Fall 2019.
