Update: We originally wrote this article in October of 2014 and now in 2017 – Instacart is delivering Publix Super Market groceries and other supermarket chains to Canton, GA (including Bridgemill), Woodstock and Cumming. I confirmed zip codes of 30114, 30115, 30188,30189, and 30441. Put your zip code in the location finder and see if you qualify for home delivery. I know after a long trip home from out of town, the last thing I want to do is get in my car and drive for groceries. Now, I don’t have to!
Is this too good to be true? Instacart now delivers to North Fulton, which includes Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, and part of John’s Creek (in addition to the Atlanta metro areas they already service). In 2015, they expanded their delivery even more. Finally, more OTP northern cities are included.
At my local Sixes Road Publix, cashiers are passing out Two-Week Free Trial of Instacart Express. This $7.50 value is valid from 2/23-3/27. The specific details are on the card, but this is a great way to experience this program.
Their customers can combine items from Whole Foods, Kroger, Costco, and even Petco and then have everything delivered within an hour or at any scheduled one-hour slot during the day. Their app makes it easy! And customers do not need to have a Costco membership to order from Costco.
From the Instacart website:
“We’re very excited to bring Instacart to more communities in North Fulton where we’ve been flooded with literally thousands of requests for grocery delivery,” said our Atlanta City Manager Adam Rabinowitz. “For young families and busy executives working very long hours, the convenience of grocery delivery to their doorstep in an hour from their favorite stores is a no brainer. We are going to continue to expand rapidly around Atlanta to fill this growing need of fresh groceries delivered quickly, hassle-free.”
There is a membership fee and delivery fee. Click here for more details. Follow us on Facebook for the latest Scoop.
