There is no shortage of holiday-themed events this year, but there are few unique places and pop-ups in Atlanta that are definitely worth the drive ITP.
Back for a second year is the NYC concept holiday pop-up bar Miracle on Monroe. This year, there are two Atlanta locations for the festive libations: the original will be in the same location as last year in the Tapa Tapa space at 931 Monroe Dr. NE, Suite C-106, while the new Miracle 2 will be located in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta at 262 Buckhead Avenue.
The bars are described as “Christmas for Adults” and are decorated wall to wall with all things Christmas. Weekly themes, guest bartenders, ugly sweaters, holiday movies, and vinyl records will be spinning Wednesday-Sundays through Christmas Eve. The menu includes the Christmopolitan Cocktail, the Muletide, the Brazen Blitzen, Santaqueila and plenty of other festive choices.
In the spirit of indulgence, Batter Cookie Dough recently opened in Ponce City Market, making it the first edible cookie dough establishment in Atlanta. No longer do you have to sneak and lick the bowl, you can eat your cookie dough just like a bowl of ice cream.
There are 10 flavors of edible cookie dough that you can enjoy while shopping, or have them cater your next event or holiday party. Seasonal flavors include peppermint and gingerbread. Mall of Georgia has announced a pop-up cookie dough shop called Seriously Dough that is opening Dec. 1st. Seriously Dough will be open mall hours Friday-Sunday through December.
And, for a cultural holiday experience, Atlantic Station is home to the annual German-inspired ChristkindlMarket. Wooden booths will be selling German food, beverages, toys and gifts. Vendors and products include Bratplatz German Street Food, Bernhard’s German Bakery, St. Christopher mulled wine, Steiff plush toys, Straub Artglas, Tim’s Wooden Toys, Goufrais Confectionery, Steinbach Nutcrackers and German Christmas Market decorations. Open daily from 11:00-9:00 and Sundays 12:00-7:00.
We are hoping to cross some of these off of our Holiday Bucket List — let us know if you have! Follow us on Facebook for more Scoop.
