We’ve got the Scoop on today’s free ice cream event! Even though it’s a national chain, we still had to share that Dairy Queen is giving away a free cone of their signature ice cream today, March 16, to celebrate 75 years in business. Offer valid at participating franchises for a small vanilla cone.
During Free Cone Day, the company encourages visitors to leave a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which raises money to help save and improve the lives of kids treated at 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.

For you ice cream lovers, here some more Scoop: April 14, 2015, is Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day. Another free cone day usually takes place annually at Haagen-Dazs shops in May, but no specific date has been announced yet for 2015.
