Fast-casual restaurants, where you place your order at the counter and then they cook and bring it you, are growing very popular. So I was excited to come up on Fishook Grille, which is a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in grilled fish and chicken.
When the food was brought to us, I was pleasantly surprised at how gourmet and fresh everything looked, and I was thrilled with the taste! Their tag line, “One taste and your hooked!” is true. I loved my grilled mahi-mahi over a greek salad, and my hubby devoured his grilled snapper, rice, and 
sauteed spinach. We also got a side of grilled zucchini strips — a house favorite. And for those of you who don’t love seafood, Fishook also offers beef tenderloin and grilled vegetable platters. This is definitely a healthy and tasty alternative to fast food as it is all prepared from scratch using only the freshest ingredients.
Fishook is known for its Southern African Piri Piri Spice, and I am now kicking myself that I didn’t try it to give you the review. But I can tell you it comes in medium and hot versions. They also offer lemon herb and tangy BBQ sauce. All of these are available for purchase — and they have no preservatives and no msg!
They consider themselves five star dining under $10, and I must say I agree. I was so excited to stumble upon this spot right across from Trader Joe’s on Hwy 92; I couldn’t wait to Scoop Approve it!
The Roswell location has a “guppy Play Area” for kids, but this OTP restaurant also has a sister store at Atlantic Station.
