Right next to Walgreens on Highway 5, just a short drive from Downtown Canton, will be a new Dunkin Donuts. It will take the place of the Ming Garden Chinese restaurant that was located at 146 Marietta Highway 5. They are in the middle of construction and are interviewing now, so hopefully an opening will be this year!
And, we also just heard, another DD is coming near exit 14 and 575 near an auto parts store and across from Anytime Fitness. We haven’t had any DD in Canton and now we are getting 2 five miles away from each other. I guess the
y want Canton to run on Dunkin!
Here’s an interesting fact: DD’s headquarters are in Canton, Massachusetts as the company was formed in nearby Quincy, Mass. in 1950. They also switched in 2002 from Pepsi products to Coke products, which is great for Atlanta corporate giant and large employer for OTP.
