The Wisconsin based fast food company, Culver’s Restaurant, is planning to open a store at Cobb Parkway and Due West Road, alongside an existing ServisFirst Bank branch — and right near Kennesaw Mountain High School — according to Tomorrow’s News Today. The space is currently an empty lot with more land behind it and signage reading “Shopping Center Coming Soon”, so look for more retail development in that area.
In addition, a Dunkin Donuts will also be going in that same center. Projections are to open in early 2018. This is a busy intersection and with easy access to Interstate 75 and Kennesaw State University. We imagine that these chain restaurants will be popular.
Culver’s is most well known for their frozen custard and signature “ButterBurgers.” Culver’s fans love their Wisconsin cheese curds too. We have visited the Cherokee location several times, especially when we find ourselves near Sequoyah high school.
According to Tomorrow’s News Today sources, another Culver’s is planned for the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area, but while a franchisee has been selected, a location has not yet been finalized. There are also Georgia locations in Dawsonville, Newnan, Buford, Grovetown (just outside Augusta) and Lawrenceville. Follow us on Facebook for the Scoop!
