One the thing that is always fun for us here at Scoop is when we find something a little off the beaten path. Now, if you live in Roswell or the Crabapple area, I am sure you have heard of Crabapple Tavern. We have driven around this area many times, but we JUST found this place. And we are so glad we did.
We had assumed that this place was probably pretty bar-like, with a stale smell of smoke and a tiny menu. But you know what they say about assuming. Needless to say, we were completely wrong. We were pleasantly surprised that the Crabapple Tavern was a very clean, modern looking restaurant.
More pleasant surprises: a great variety on their menu! There were eight salads to choose from (my usual lunch choice), plenty of appetizers and main dishes with all of the usual suspects, along with a few different choices, like pot pie and “Hoffman’s Hot’s” (hot dogs served however you’d like).
Our meals were very good, and the service was great. We will definitely try to make it back for dinner or drinks one evening to check out the nighttime crowd and atmosphere. We were so happy we stopped in. Check them out, and tell them Scoop sent you!
