Last month, a popular Woodstock coffee shop, the Copper Coin, announced through its Facebook page that it was for sale, raising speculation as to what would move into the anchor location.
Singleton Real Estate represented the investor, Randy Altmann of RMS-CC, LLC in a 5,283 square foot lease of the Copper Coin Coffee space in Downtown Woodstock, GA. The five-year lease allows the Copper Coin Coffee shop to remain open with no interruption of service to the downtown community.
Copper Coin, previously named the Woodstock Coffeehouse, had two other locations, but closed both of them. The premier location of the coffee shop has made it an ideal place to for business meetings, group gathering, students studying or an after-dinner coffee.
“I look forward to becoming an active member of the downtown Woodstock business community, and building on the successes of Mike Gullicksen at Copper Coin Coffee,” Altmann said.
Larry Singelton of Singelton Real Estate, a Woodstock resident also, stated he was thrilled to be able to assist in keeping the coffee shop open.
