Chick-fil-A to Open in Marietta Square

Chick-fil-A launches their new, limited time offer of a frosted coffee drink today. That is eximgresciting news for coffee and Chick-fil-A lovers, but even more interesting was the announcement that a new Chick-fil-A will be built just off the Historic Marietta Square.

Herb-Shop-PhotoAccording to the the AJC, the Herb Shop by the Square, will be demolished to make way for the restaurant on Mill Street at Denmead Street, that is owned by Marietta Councilman Philip Goldstein.

The design will complement the historic features of the area with a dual-approach, single pick-up drive-through with an awning, indoor seating for 135 and a large outdoor covered seating area.

Due to the train traffic, employees can go outside to take orders and bring food to the gues12805904_1704370026487713_7322173065256773776_nts.

We have visited the Herb Shop and they had quality product with an educated salesperson. We know the residents of that area will miss their local herb shop, and we wish them well in their new endeavors.

The Herb Shop won’t be torn down until Chick-fil-A is ready to build. So, you will have to get your soft-serve vanilla ice cream with their Thrive Farmers cold-brewed iced coffee in another one of the hundreds of OTP locations. You may remember last year they introduced Frosted Lemonade, capitalizing on their signature drink. The Lemonade is still around, so maybe the coffee will become a permanent fixture too!

Located at:  44 Mill St NE, Marietta, Georgia

If you find yourself on the square, pop into The Local Exchange, it’s a great shop filled with Made OTP products!
