Dale Murphy, Braves legend and winner of two straight National League MVP awards, is opening a restaurant outside of SunTrust Park at the Cobb Galleria Center called “Murphs.”
The restaurant is expected to open this month. The website and Facebook page have no menu details listed, but Tomorrow’s News Today said that Murph’s will feature a selection of classic American favorites like burgers and wings, as well as a full bar.
Murphy’s Twitter bio describes him as a proud father of 8 children and papa to 10 grandchildren. He has been married for 36 years. He has played ball for the Braves, Phillies, & Rockies from 1976-1993 and is a devout Mormon. Even though he has no restaurant experience, his partners do, and we wish them all the best of luck with this restaurant concept at 1 Galleria Parkway.
