A popular Marietta Square eatery, the Marietta Local, has announced it will be expanding to the Kennesaw area to the location that was previously occupied by Mountain Biscuits. Tomorrow’s News Today announced that Mountain Biscuits, the popular breakfast joint, will be relocating to Dallas at the end of April.
The Marietta Local will bring its award-winning breakfast menu to the Marietta / Kennesaw area under the name Basecamp at Kennesaw Mountain. They will serve breakfast and lunch — while keeping the famous biscuits — but will be focused on gourmet pancakes that will be on the menu all day, every day, including Sundays. They are planning a fresh press juice bar as well.
Plans are tentatively set for a June opening. Basecamp will be located at the 1718 Old 41 Hwy NW in Marietta.
