Food Trucks are all the rage these days in the culinary world, and the Atlanta Food Truck Park is no exception.
Located at the Howell Mill exit off of I-75, The Atlanta Food Truck Park is the first permanent food truck site in town. The trucks are open for lunch and dinner all week. On weekends, farmers markets, live music and art farms are on display. The truck park has a large variety of vendors that participate, so it is always best to check the website or Facebook to see what trucks will be there on the day of your visit.
There are about 15 different trucks on any given day, so there is sure to be something for everyone in your group. This is really part of the fun — no need to all be in agreement on what to eat! The variety of trucks includes barbecue, Italian, Mexican, Irish, Cajun, specialty sandwiches and hot dogs, and of course plenty of sweet treats.
So next time you are looking to have a little culinary adventure, try heading ITP to the Atlanta Food Park — it’s certainly Worth the Drive! And tell them Scoop sent you.
Scoop Tip: Most of the trucks do take credit and debit cards with their Square reader, but it’s always a safe bet to have cash.
