This isn’t Jacksonville…for the first time since 1995, they are in Atlanta. The Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs have played in Jacksonville for 93 years as a regular tradition (beginning in 1933), interrupted only by a two-year campus home-and-home series in 1994 and 1995 due to stadium construction. Once again, the Jax stadium is under repair so they took the game on the road. Next year, it will be in Tampa, Florida.
When the game played in Athens in 1995, the Braves won the World Series the same day!
