BIG RESTAURANT NEWS FOR MARIETTA SQUARE:
Brasserie Genevieve, a new French-inspired restaurant, is planning to open at 45 West Park Square, taking over the former Piastra / Asher & Rose location!
And here’s the scoop! 
Brasserie Genevieve French Bistro and Bar will be serving French cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, according to husband and wife owners Gigi Rose and Salem Makhlouf.
The couple also own L on North and Three Roses Tavern on Marietta Square and in Canton.
The bistro, named after the couple’s daughter, Genevieve, is opening in November at 45 West Park Square, which previously housed Asher and Rose Grocers, and before that, Piastra.
Expect classic French bistro dishes, including trout almondine and sole Française.
The restaurant is targeting late 2026 to early 2027, possibly as soon as December or January!
