The 1885 Grill is a southern coastal restaurant with two locations currently in Chattanooga and Ooltewah, Tennessee.
Founder and Owner, Miguel Morales and his wife Leslie, have partnered with Mike Schroeder to open the third location in Acworth, GA. Both men have life -long experience with Carrabbas Italian Grill, as Schroeder has been the managing partner of the Kennesaw location for 18 years.
Located at 4438 Cherokee Street in Acworth, this 8,200 square foot restaurant and patio is new construction on a site that was literally a hole in the ground. They are aiming for an October 26th opening, but stay tuned to social media for updates.
Growing up in South Carolina, Morales was introduced to coastal fare alongside traditional southern cuisine from his mother with a dash of Spanish influence from his Puerto Rican father. To celebrate the rich and delicious flavors of his youth, Morales has created an eclectic menu that highlights a little bit of everything from house‑made stone‑ground grits, coastal fresh catches, Spanish rice and empanadas.
