A few weeks ago, we shared the story that a new Netflix television series starring Jason Bateman is set to film in Cherokee County. We were then inundated with requests for casting and how to get involved — to which, at the time, we did not have the answers! (As much as we wish we were text buddies with Jason and his Netflix producers, we are not.)
Fortunately, we have since become acquainted with Videssa Ormsby, the Camera Ready Liaison at the Cherokee Office of Economic Development, and she shared some vital information about how to get involved across the state.
The state of Georgia has an online directory for vendors to register their business for use during filming in Georgia. The Reel-Crew Production Directory is perfect for individuals or businesses that offer catering, costumes, make-up, camera crew, lighting, sound and much more. Additionally, this site is where you can list your house or property if you are interested in having it used for filming.
