Chanukah Menorah Lightings & Fun!

So, here’s an oxymoron for you: I need to grab my son early from his small church group meeting so that he can watch Woodstock’s Chanukah Menorah lighting with me! I found out, I am not alone. There are many interfaith marriages (except my husband says we’d only have a true mixed marriage if we weren’t both Gator fans!)

      Grand Chanukah Menorah Lighting

I was surprised at some of the creative Menorah lighting events around town, like The Aquarium Underwater! Check out this article from the Atlanta Jewish Times about a Menorah that is lit each night in the largest underwater aquatic habitat.

The Atlanta Jewish Music Festival also has 5 days of events too for you to check out.

Hawks Chanukah Scoop OTPAlso, the Atlanta Hawks are having a Hawks Jewish Heritage Night on December 12 featuring musician Prodezra. Hurry, tickets are running out!

Contact the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta for more information. If we missed any, please let us know! For some holiday lights, visit these homes and light shows around town.

One more Chanukah-related bit — remember last year Shark Tank’s Mensch on a Bench? He was created out of Elf on the Shelf envy. You can still get him and play pranks on your kids! Their Facebook page has some funny ideas for you!

By the way, enjoy Adam Sandler’s 4th Chanukah song — I find them so amusing!
