Cabela’s is Coming to Acworth

There are about 45 Cabela’s in the United States, and we’re excited to say that two new Cabela’s stores are coming to Georgia — and one is OTP!

Cabela’s Incorporated, the World’s Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is building a 100,000-square-foot store in the Cherokee Village development in the northeast quadrant of I-75 and Highway 92 (in Acworth near the Cobb county line). The other store will be located in Augusta.

My husband and son are hunters, so we’ve been to the Cabela’s in Ocala, Florida several times during our drive down to visit family or Mickey Mouse. They have museum quality wildlife displays that will definitely catch your eye.

And with Lake Allatoona just miles away, their fishing department is sure to be extensive. They will also have a gun library, bargain cave, boat shop, indoor archery range, a deli and fudge shop. So much to see!

With a Bass Pro 30 miles away opening in 2015 in Emerson, we’re sure these two superstores will bring many visitors’ and their discretionary dollars OTP.
