Zac Brown fans have yet another reason to love the country star with his latest endeavor.
Brown is building Camp Southern Ground, an inclusive camp for special needs children ages 7-17. It will be a place where children with Down’s syndrome, Asperger’s, Tourettes and autism will be able to have a fun and educational camp experience.
Built on 400 acres of farmland near Peachtree City, Camp Southern Ground will sit adjacent to Two Doves Farm, which will provide organic produce for the camp. Camp activities and attractions will include bike and nature trails, an aquatic center, an art center, and of course: a music center.
Our mission is to operate a camp to allow children to overcome academic, social and emotional difficulties so they may reach their full potential and provide the tools necessary to achieve excellence in all facets of their lives.
Camp Southern Ground is still in the developmental stages, which means there are many ways you can help and get involved. Check out their wish list and the other ways you can contribute to making this a reality.
