The Void, a virtual reality experience with locations in places like Dubai, Las Vegas, and Orlando is coming soon to The Battery Atlanta. According to a press release:
“Using state-of-the-art VR technology, The Void layers a virtual world over a physical space combined with 4D multi-sensory effects where guests can walk freely untethered, see, touch and interact with the environment.”
It will open early 2019at the mixed-use development adjacent SunTrust Stadium.
The Void in The Battery Atlanta will launch with Star Wars™: Secrets of the Empire, a “first-of-its-kind multi-sensory interactive adventure set in a galaxy far, far away.”
It’s hyper-reality. It’s technical achievement. But mainly, it’s fun! THE VOID is a whole-body, fully immersive VR experience, full of surprises at every turn; with you, your family and friends inside the action. One second you’re standing on solid ground, the next you’re stepping deep into darkness, looking at unimaginable beauty – or fending off danger from another realm.
The Void at The Battery Atlanta will be located next to the Coca-Cola Roxy, at 800 Battery Ave SE.
