I am not the biggest clothing consignment store guru out there, but while exploring the super-cute Crabapple area of Milton, I happened upon The Twisted Thread, an upscale clothing consignment boutique.
This chic little corner store had brands like Tiffany, Chanel, Burberry, and, the biggest name on my list, Christian Louboutin (yes, the red-soled shoes!). In addition to these high-end names, there are also some more common names like Ann Taylor and Banana Republic.
The clothing is all in very good shape — some of it even still bearing the original tags. The Twisted Thread carries evening wear, shoes, exercise apparel, jewelry, and accessories, so there really is something for everyone. Their inventory changes frequently, and you can even leave your wish list with them so that they can keep an eye out for that specific item you might be looking for.
What do they do with all of the items that don’t sell? They donate them to The Drake House, which makes this store all the more special.
