Twisted Cycle is a fitness boutique that combines indoor cycling with two strength circuits, tracked by state of the art technology. They currently have locations in Acworth, Kennesaw, Woodstock and are opening one soon in Canton at 3725 Sixes Road near Marco’s Pizza.
Kevin Lora and his wife Mandi are the owners of the Sixes Road franchise location. The owners of the company are two brothers, Seth and Jason Carver, and the Lora’s are their first franchise being opened from the ground up. It will be the largest Twisted Cycle location of the four current locations with 3000 SF, 2500 SF of workout area, 200 SF of child watch area, and 200 SF of lobby space.
Twisted Cycle is an hour long workout that combines indoor cycling and two strength training circuits. They combine the workouts with state of the art technology to track your heart rate, calories and challenges. They offer over 15 different formats, which vary the duration of time spent on the circuits and the bike. The workout is separated into three different versions: beginner, advanced and elite. The workout changes every day with varying focuses on muscles groups, strength, cardio, balance and muscular endurance.
As for this location specifically, they were originally hoping to be open by mid-late April prior to the Coronavirus situation. Their current hope is that they we will be able to open our doors by the end of May, but we will continue to follow the State/Local/Federal guidelines governing when we may officially open.
The space they have chosen is perfect for a fitness facility, with natural light, super high (20+ ft) ceilings, and ample parking. While the other locations are named after cities, this one is named after a street. The Lora’s feel that the majority of people in Cherokee County and surrounding areas are familiar with the Sixes Road and their maybe another Canton location in the future, so this will avoid any confusion!

I’M NEW TO WORKING OUT. IS TWISTED CYCLE RIGHT FOR ME?
Yes! Our workouts and classes are “at your own pace.” We want you to push yourself, but not to the point where you’re risking injury. We keep our class sizes small so our certified instructors can keep an eye on everyone, ensuring proper form and technique are maintained.
I HAVE BAD KNEES. IS TWISTED CYCLE RIGHT FOR ME?
Absolutely! Indoor cycling is the best type of low-impact cardio around! Low-impact exercises reduce the “wear and tear” on your joints, making it easier to get a great workout in without risking injury. Indoor cycling provides the intensity without the damage!
I USUALLY JUST DO CARDIO. WHAT’S THE BENEFIT OF CROSS-TRAINING?
Cross-training is the best way to burn calories, build lean muscle and improve your overall health. By constantly varying workouts, you get a full-body workout rather than a workout focused on a single muscle group. If your body is performing the same exercise over and over, it’s prepared for the workout ahead. By introducing new and different exercises, your muscles become “confused” and are forced to work as hard as possible to keep up with the new workout!
