The Twisted Kitchen pasta and noodle company restaurant has a great tagline of “Life is Twisted. Why not your food?” The fast casual concept is you build your own pasta, noodle, wrap or salad with many fresh ingredients and a variety of choices to fit your palette.
The Cohen family, the owners of this restaurant, have been in the restaurant business for years. But they created The Twisted Kitchen out of a personal need for their busy family life with children involved in competitive swimming and dance. Like many families, they were always on the go and ate at Chick Fila and Moes, but wanted different and healthier choices too.
If you want to carb up, there are awesome pasta choices. You pick the pasta, the sauce, the vegetables or meat. They have some signature pasta dishes that sound amazing and are ready to go! My boring child likes just butter and shaved Parmesan cheese. But check out Twisted Aphrodite that has marinara, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, baby spinach and feta cheese. Yum!
If you enjoy a healthy salad, they have several choices for that too, and you can build your own. I enjoyed their Asian chicken wrap. Another one of their wraps, How The West Was Wrapped, is a cute play on words and has grilled steak, pico de gallo, cilantro, and special cheese sauce.
They have fresh ingredients, gluten-free choices, and low-carb pastas. Definitely worth checking out, s stop by the Twisted Kitchen and tell them Scoop OTP sent you.
