The Butcher and Bottle Expands to Ellijay

Adam Anacker and Brian Stanley, the team behind the successful restaurants B & B Tavern Sixes Road formerly knowns as The Butcher and Bottle and B & B Tavern Free Home  are putting down roots in Ellijay as they take over the restaurant Emily’s Bar and Restaurant.  They are located at 24 River Street in downtown Ellijay and had their grand opening last week with the rebrand. The restaurant is currently open and operating.

Building off of the company’s previous success, the new owners will be rebranding the name to The Butcher and Bottle.  They will continue to bring delicious food and the exceptional service guests and visitors have grown to expect and love.

“Our mission is to serve guests and team members with intentional expectations and hospitality by crafting every detail of the restaurant” says Anacker. “We are committed to serving every guest and team member with kindness and respect”

As a locally owned and operated business, TheButcher and Bottle is committed to bringing the community high-quality, locally sourced meats and a diverse selection of wines. Our team is thrilled to be able to continue the tradition of excellent food and service that people appreciated about Emily’s Restaurant.

“We are so excited to greet the community in Ellijay”, said Stanley. “We are and will remain a family-owned and faith-based restaurant that believes in fun, integrity, and hard work.”

Under the new ownership, the restaurant will undergo a renovation to create a modern and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. They will also be introducing a new menu on February 22nd featuring a variety of hand-cut meats, fresh seafood, and locally grown produce.
