Taste of Woodstock is right around the corner, and this year’s event stays true to beloved traditions, while also offering fresh new tastes and happenings. This is more than your typical food festival – It is a true snapshot of the diversity of Woodstock’s culinary scene.
From Southern barbecue to Brazilian bites, and Italian classics to Asian specialties, the city of Woodstock’s roughly 12 square miles holds a most unexpected range of flavors. And Taste of Woodstock captures it all. Mediterranean to Caribbean, European to American; this is truly what makes this event so unique, as each bite and culture is captured in one space together.
The 2026 Taste of Woodstock(opens in new tab) will take place on the Woodstock Arts Event Green at 111 Elm Street and Market Street, right in the heart of downtown Woodstock, from 4pm-8pm on the evening of Thursday, September 10. Admission is free, though tasting tickets are required to sample restaurant offerings.
Advance tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, September 1st, from the Woodstock Visitors Center (8588 Main Street), and onsite the day of the event. Event proceeds benefit the Woodstock High School Band Boosters. Those tasting throughout the evening are encouraged to vote for their favorite dish of the night in the coveted People’s Choice Award category.
A Visit Woodstock GA tent will be placed on Market Street to obtain votes. A panel of judges will also select restaurants in categories for Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert; with all award winners announced on the main stage at the conclusion of the event.
This year’s judging panel includes reality television personality and motivational speaker, Scott Bagwill. Scott joins five other individuals on the panel in this fully anonymous (and utterly delicious) tasting competition.
Taste of Woodstock flavors will be accompanied by live music starting at 4pm, the Woodstock High School Marching Band performing at 5pm, and a surprise radio personality guest on sounds for the remainder of the evening.
