The stars have aligned and St. Patrick’s Day is falling on a Saturday this year! Yes, I understand how the Gregorian calendar works and that St. Patrick’s Day will land on a Saturday every seven years — but for this particular Scooper, this is the first Saturday St. Patrick’s Day without any scheduled soccer, lacrosse, basketball, dance, or any other parent-required event. That being said, I am looking forward to finally partaking in some of these blessed events, overdoing it, and most likely falling asleep by 8:00 PM.
Here’s the rundown of what’s happening near you for lucky St. Pat’s…
Olde Blind Dog: The three day celebration starts Friday March 16th with a head-shaving event for St. Baldrick’s Pediatric cancer research, and all day party with food and live music on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM, and will wrap up Sunday with the St. Paddy O’Pedal bike ride. Pre-registration is required for Friday and Sunday, and tickets are being sold now for Saturday’s bash.
