The City of Woodstock via Rock 100.5 is honoring the Woodstock Music Festival’s 50th anniversary with Rockstock in Woodstock.
Woodstock was a music festival held August 15–18, 1969, which attracted an audience of more than 400,000. Billed as “an Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music”, it was held at Max Yasgur’s 600-acre dairy farm in Bethel, New York, 43 miles southwest of Woodstock New York.
This weekend, Rock 100.5 brings the sounds and feel of the Woodstock Festival to Woodstock, Georgia with the Rock 100.5 Rockstock in Woodstock….SATURDAY, AUGUST 17TH at Northside Hospital Cherokee Amphitheater and City Park, Woodstock.
This day of music, artists, and vendors will feature 8 local bands playing homage to and hit filled, power-packed tribute sets by Woodstock Festival artists form 1969, 1994 AND 1999 covering the likes The Allman Brothers Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Janis Joplin, Willie Nelson, Jimi Hendrix, Crosby-Stills-Nash and Young and many more . In addition to all the great live music this family friendly event will also host the Sutherlin Nissan of Cherokee Kidz Zone featuring a $10 (advance) ALL YOU CAN JUMP -UNLIMITED jump house access for kids 2- 15, an artist market and pop up shopping, vendor displays, food trucks and specialty food service, a VIP terrace, the “Sample Bugg”, a wide assortment of adult beverages from Sierra Nevada, Tribute Wines, Finnish Long Drink and Wild Basin “boozy” sparkling water plus much more.
General admission tickets are just $15 when purchased in advance and kids 12 and under are FREE!

ROCK 100.5 is providing FREE and SECURED parking with COMPLIMENTARY shuttle service to and from the venue and the Woodstock City Church located at 150 Ridgewalk Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30188. FREE shuttle service will run starting one hour before event (11am) to one half- hour after event (11:30pm). We will have security personnel posted in this lot to assure your vehicles safety.
