New Restaurants in North Fulton

The popular Viande Rouge Steakhouse in John’s Creek is converting to a Mexican concept per their Facebook Page.

Thank you for the nine year run! We will reopen in the same location as a Mexican concept by One41. In the meantime, please visit our sister restaurant Trattoria One41. Keep following our page for more information. We look forward to serving you in Fall 2019!

The former American steakhouse with a French flair was an upscale atmosphere, which made it a special occasion restaurant for many patrons.  Sister restaurant Trattoria one • 41 has been voted best and most romantic Italian restaurant in Johns Creek and Duluth, Georgia.  So, let’s see what Chef Marc Sublette does with the new Mexican concept!

In the former Corner Deli of Alpharetta (1o Roswell Street), a local wood fire pizzeria is coming called Minnie Olivia Pizzeria. The brainchild of Chef Julio Delgado, of New Realm Brewing and JP Atlanta, Minnie Olivia is set to be a new neighborhood artisan pizzeria that’s open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to My Alpharetta Living. Their pizza oven is from Modena, Italy, made by the master oven builder Aldo Pavesi responsible for the world renown Pavesi Brand.

From their Instagram page, here’s a small sneak peek of Minnie Olivia Pizzeria.
As you enter through the doors you find yourself in a modern, trendy neighborhood pizzeria; interiors will reflect the fresher approach we aimed to bring to the wood fire Neo Neapolitan Style Pizzeria to Downtown Alpharetta. The fresh-white clean look with the blond wood accents creates a seamless combination where Southern Italy & The South meets and culminates into a worldly atmosphere perfect for the local dive with an updated, approachable look and feel!

Get ready to enjoy wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas and an ever-evolving menu of Italian small places and seasonally inspired dishes.

The Name Minnie Olivia Pizzeria is in honor to “Minnie Olivia Dodd” Daughter of James Madison Dodd and Sara Ann Dodd couple who own and operate the Dodd Hotel till 1940s surrounded by flowers and vegetable garden were Minnie Olivia Pizzeria is located.  The owner’s goal is to have a restaurant that represent the history of Alpharetta with the recognition that this city deserved.

In addition, Savory Gourmet Market is also opening in Alpharetta at 50 Canton Street. The market will have healthy, organic, all natural foods, meats, cheeses, chef-prepared meals, catering, sandwiches, coffee, pizza, gourmet gifts and more.

Owner Chef Adam Hyzdu is also the executive executive chef and co-owner at Mari’s Cucina and Social House ( NY Sicilian food ) in Johns Creek.

The gourmet meats  are imported from our friends in Italy where we also import olive oil, 50’yr old balsamic vinegars, San Marzano tomatoes and specialized pastas – as well as Arthur Avenue up in the Bronx.

Arthur Avenue in the Bronx is a close-knit neighborhood of Italian food shops, most of which have been in business for over 100 years.

Thanks to our friend & food guru, Joe Duffy, for the Scoop and we know he can’t wait to try all the above places!
