Finally, after several delays, the highly anticipated opening of the new food hall, the Marietta Square Market, will have its grand opening Thursday, March 28th. A new vendor will also be inside the trolley, but that hasn’t been announced yet!
Located at 68 North Marietta Parkway NW just one block from Glover Park in the Historic Marietta Square District, the new Marietta Square Market is an 18,500 square foot food hall designed to resemble a turn of the century train station and nestled in a completely revitalized warehouse space adjacent to the Square’s iconic railroad tracks and the parallel Mountain to River Trail.
Local food fans can get set to enjoy the Market’s diverse selection of authentic eats, well-stocked central bar and indoor and outdoor seating options as well as pop-up style retail shopping spots. In total, Marietta Square Market will be home to twenty unique merchants. The majority of those merchants are slated to be serving on opening day.
As opening day approaches, food followers can get a preview of Marietta Square Market’s merchants, menus, hours, directions and more at their website or follow along for news and announcements on Facebook or Instagram @mariettasquaremarket.
