UPDATE: Lilly Sage in now open!
Getting squeaky clean just got a little easier if you’re in Roswell. Lilly Sage Apothecary is setting up shop in an adorable, corner building at 1097 Alpharetta Street.
Shop owners Carol and Janet have been friends for over 25 years, and opening a store is a dream come true. The partners’ focus is to create elegant and beautiful soaps, lotions and potions in an effort to “bring back the bath.”
After researching many other handmade soaps and bath products, they determined that Lilly Sage’s products will be all natural, made with essential oils and as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible. Products will not contain palm oil, nuts or fragrances — all fragrances are created from high quality essential oils. Their tagline is: “What laughter is to the soul, soap is to the body.”
They aim to open before year end, and are working hard to create a store that is appealing to both men and women. Additionally, the store will carry candles, silk florals and bathroom decor and accessories. Future plans include possibly using space for small classes, as well as a viewing area for people to observe the soap making process.
