Stone mountain is more than just history, hiking and laser shows. The OTP attraction has family-friendly activities and “the Jump” will be the newest thrill addition. This is multi-level free fall drop experience. Guests have the option of three different tower levels to jump onto free fall air bags similar to a stunt professional.
The JUMP will be part of the current Sky Hike compound. Three different towers of 20, 15 and less than 10 feet, offer different levels of family thrills. Amateur stunt jumpers 44 inches (3’8”) and over, fall from their tower of choice onto a large, soft airbag below. It will only be available on attraction only days, so check their calendar to updates.
Stone Mountain Park announced their new attraction in January and it was scheduled to open in April for their Spring Break Fun Time. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen delays this new attraction will not open in time so stay tuned to Scoop for the revised opening date. Stone Mountain has plenty of Forced Family Fun activities for an interesting staycation destination north of Atlanta.
