These are now open!
We got the scoop directly from the marketing department at The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta (which is actually located in Woodstock) that a restaurant and a retailer are supposed to open in 2014.
Johnny Rockets is home of the original hamburger and is coming to the food court area. The restaurant is known for providing a classic All American experience.
According to their website, they have 300 corporate and franchise-owned restaurants in 30 states and 16 countries, including 17 Six Flags locations and 11 Royal Caribbean cruise ships. The original plan was to open for Black Friday, but we heard there is a delay.
Each year, Johnny Rockets serves 17 million hamburgers, 11.3 million soda pops, 8.3 million shakes and malts, 8 million pounds of fries, 2.1 million orders of onion rings and 815,000 gallons of ice cream. I know we visit the one ITP across from the Aquarium and will be excited to have one OTP now! Sometimes I have seen the staff do art with ketchup — now that’s a creative talent!
In addition, Chaps, a clothing and accessory line managed by Ralph Lauren, is coming to the Outlets too. Scoop knows our fans want a Ralph Lauren POLO outlet, but for now we get Chaps, which may help us fill that void. Chaps products are carried at Belk’s and Kohl’s. The Chaps outlet store will be located next to Isaac Mizrahi, and they are aiming for a Black Friday opening.
The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta has a promotion called “All Night Madness” where many stores open at 10pm on Thanksgiving. Stay tuned to Scoop OTP for those details.
