Folks heading to Kennesaw to visit Kennesaw State University or to catch an Owls football game now will have a few new choices for hotels. The latest announcement from Tomorrow’s News Today stated that the next hotel will be built in the mostly vacant shopping strip on the north side of the Town Center Mall. The most recent business in this location was the Masse Grill & Bar, as well as 13 Stories Haunted House.
According to reports that the property is being built into a “dual flag” Hilton brand hotel; meaning that both the Home2 Suites by Hilton and the TRU by Hilton will be the parent companies for the hotel. The unit will be a four story building.
Home2 Suites by Hilton is a mid-scale, all-suite, extended stay hotel, launched by Hilton in 2009. Tru by Hilton hotels are vibrant, affordable and young at heart. These hotels, in addition to the Hampton Inn opening this summer on Chastain, make for 3 Hilton family hotels in Kennesaw.
