What meaning or message is unveiled through layers? As humans, we our personalities are layered. Our emotions are layered. As artists, how do we use layers to convey or express an idea? For artisans, the use of layers can be critical to construction in specific media. Fabric, fibers, paint, glazes, screen prints, clay, additive sculpture – all could be considered as a means of exploring the depths of creativity.
