Join us on at TBB 122 on Thursday, July 27 at 6:30pm for an evening of our favorite summer varietals and curated pairings.
A bit about the winemaker:
Broc Cellars makes natural wine the way they believe delivers the best wines for us and the earth. They use only organically-farmed grapes. They use cover crops to boost soil health, water retention and biodiversity. Sheep help them manage crop cover and fertilize the soil. They harvest early for more healthy grapes that retain their good acidity. This often results in lower alcohol wines. The lower Brix (sugar content) at harvest allows for easier fermentations. They use native yeasts and bacteria that exist on the grapes and never add sulphur during fermentation.
They work with vineyards that are organically farmed and family-owned. They are proud to source from an eclectic mix of vineyards from all over California, working with vineyards from the Central Coast up to Mendocino, including their own vineyard, Fox Hill Vineyard in Mendocino.
