Alpharetta Restaurant Week @ GA

Alpharetta Restaurant Week invites people to dine out for a deal. Participating restaurants will offer a special three-course dinner menu for $20-$40 and many also offer three-course lunches for $15-$20 (beverage, tax and gratuity not included).

Sushi Workshop

Hands-On $65
Students will work hands-on to discover the techniques for making and rolling sushi. Students will learn the basics including making and forming sushi rice, assembling fillings, and rolling ingredients using a bamboo mat to make beautifully shaped sushi. Of course, a glass of sake will complete the evening!

The Mediterranean Table

Escape the winter chill—invite your plus one to join us in sunny Sicily. In this class, we will teach you how to grill prawns the Italian way and stir risotto to creamy perfection. You’ll practice roasting butternut squash for a Sicilian-inspired antipasti and make date night even sweeter with creamy panna cotta.

Macaron Workshop

Brighten up your winter with jewel-toned macarons delicately piped and filled with buttercream and white chocolate ganache. You will practice the techniques for folding, piping and baking your own macarons. We will finish the class by brushing individual macarons with gold – a sweet gift to share.

Date Night: Mystery Box Challenge

Hands-On $135 per couple
Who’s up for a little good-natured competition? We’ll review knife skills – then couples are given a basket of mystery ingredients and limited cookware! Teams work within a time limit to creatively put together 3 courses. No recipes! This fun class is for those with some basic cooking skills who want to challenge themselves to cook without recipes with a team competition mindset.

A Leap Year Day Wine Celebration

Leap day is observed because the Earth’s period of orbital revolution around the Sun takes approximately 6 hours longer than 365 whole days. Let’s celebrate this day with great food and great wine! Come to Aprons cooking school and try some new foods and wines and break out of the norm for 1 day!

Celebrate spring as we infuse French flavors into our favorite sweet treat, cupcakes. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the essentials for baking cupcakes—from properly folding batter to mixing frosting. Plus, we’ll teach you how to caramelize apples for cupcakes inspired by tarte tatin and use a kitchen torch to add the finishing touch to crème brûlée cupcakes.

Kitchen Fundamentals: Umami

Umami is the savory taste sensation along with sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. The fifth taste is explored in this flavorful class.
