Roswell Arts Fund invites you explore, experience, and enjoy ArtAround Roswell – Roswell’s free museum without walls! The 2019-20 season introduces 9 temporary works of art joining our ten permanent sculptures through Roswell’s parks and historic downtown. ArtAround Roswell sculptures offer a meaningful experience for adults and children of all ages.

Take a self-guided tour using the ArtAround map, which can be downloaded at www.roswellartsfund.org. Discover more when you download Otocast from Itunes or Google Play and from the voice of the artist, gain insight about the art and the artist. Seize the unique photo opportunity and post your on pictures Instagram with the hashtag #ArtAroundRoswell. Share your experiences with Roswell’s arts community on Roswell Arts Fund’s Facebook page! If you dare, adult gals and ghouls are invited to kick off the Halloween weekend with Trick-or-Drink, a 21+ spooky soiree from 6 to 9 p.m. featuring plenty of boo-ze, live music in The Plaza and scream-worthy costumes. In addition, Bar None will be onsite for guests looking for “the spirit without the spirits.”

The party doesn’t have to stop there! After Trick or Drink, head to Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar for an after-party, including a costume contest with exclusive prizes (judging starts at 9:15 p.m.) and special Halloween-themed cocktails and bites for purchase.

Upon arrival, guests are invited to visit Concierge to collect a trick-or-treat treasure map that showcases the event’s participating retailers. Once trick-or-treat bags are over-flowing with candy, attendees can drop off their completed map at Concierge for a chance to win an Avalon family fun prize package.

In celebration of its five-year milestone, Avalon is inviting the community to “Toast to Avalon,” a delectable restaurant crawl benefitting North Fulton Community Charities on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 5 to 9 p.m. Upon arrival, guests will receive a passport featuring tickets that are redeemable for a complimentary appetizer and drink specials from Avalon’s participating restaurants. Each guest will also receive a limited-edition Toast to Avalon t-shirt. The participating restaurants include:

Award-winning photographer Kate T. Parker will discuss her exhibit StrongHearted, as well as her best-selling books Strong is the New Pretty and Heart of a Boy. Kate believes that “everyone should be granted the space to be proud of who they are. This is not necessarily a message specific to girls or boys, rather a human one.” All of Kate’s books will be for sale in the lobby, and she will sign autographs immediately following the talk.
