Roswell Arts Fund invites you explore, experience, and enjoy ArtAround Roswell – Roswell’s free museum without walls! The 2019-20 season introduces 9 temporary works of art joining our ten permanent sculptures through Roswell’s parks and historic downtown. ArtAround Roswell sculptures offer a meaningful experience for adults and children of all ages.

Take a self-guided tour using the ArtAround map, which can be downloaded at www.roswellartsfund.org. Discover more when you download Otocast from Itunes or Google Play and from the voice of the artist, gain insight about the art and the artist. The Vickery Village Farmers Market is held in the Vickery Village Courtyard. From April 11 – October 24, the Farmers Market will be open Thursdays from 9 a.m. – noon.

The mission of the Vickery Village Farmers Market is to provide access to fresh, high quality, locally-produced and healthy food products to the local community. All products offered at the market will be produced by local farmers and vendors and grown or produced using organic practices to the extent feasible.

The market standard incorporates the principles embodied under the Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) guidelines. Farmers that have received their CNG certification or USDA Organic certification will be given preference as well as those located in Forsyth County and within a 50 mile radius of Vickery Village.

Modern Colors

The Alpha Arts Guild will showcase its member art—from abstract to realistic painting, sculpture, 3-D art, photography, textile art, and paper art—in the Modern Colors show, open to the public, at the beautiful new Alpharetta Arts Center from October 1, 2019 to January 6, 2020 with an opening reception on Saturday, October 5, from 5-7pm. The show and the reception are open to the public.
Established in 2008, the 50+ member Alpha Arts Guild is an extremely active nonprofit organization of artists who work and live in the Alpharetta/north Fulton County area, who deeply appreciate art and art making in all of its forms. Through its president and board of directors, the guild is committed to providing an environment of camaraderie among artists, their patrons, and the local art community while fostering understanding, education, and an appreciation of the visual arts.

Santa’s Mailbox

Santa’s elves will install a special mailbox at the Alpharetta Community Center for children to mail their letters to Santa. Children may drop off their letters between November 18 – December 13 and Santa will respond to all letters he receives.
Letters need to include child’s first and last name, age, address and wish list.

Santa at North Point Mall

Santa’s Toy Factory is designed to empower creativity through an interactive, immersive experience to meet Santa. Within the 1,600 square-foot space, young guests will have the opportunity to “test” new toys in Santa’s Factory before they get delivered to all the boys and girls on Christmas morning. After they “test” the toys, they visit different stations to digitally design, build and paint toys from Mattel’s iconic brands including Barbie®, Hot Wheels®, and Thomas & Friends™. The grand finale, of course, will be meeting Santa himself for photos and to share their holiday wish list.
Santa’s Toy Factory will be located on Level 1, in West Court court area of the shopping center.

History On Tap

Join the Cherokee County Historical Society, Preservation Woodstock, Inc., and Reformation Brewery for another edition of History on Tap!
This joint event will take place in Woodstock and will provide FREE walking tours of historic Downtown Woodstock. Tours will take place at 5:30, 5:45, 6:00 and 6:15 lasting approximately 30 minutes. Space for the tours is limited to 15 people per time slot. Tours will begin and end at Reformation, so arrive early to reserve your tour time slot and grab a beer or bring your water bottle.
The Historical Society will be selling discounted memberships to all NEW members! Preservation Woodstock will also be selling memberships on site.
