Bunnies and Brunch

Bunnies, baskets and bows are all over the place this time of year. There are many options for egg hunts and Easter Brunch all over OTP, but we wanted to recommend a few that we have personally enjoyed in the past, just to take some of the guess work out of your holiday.

imagesThere are just too many egg hunts to list individually, but here is a great resource for just about every egg hunt in Georgia! Just enter the county you are looking for and a list comes up! However, if you are weary of the same old-same old egg hunts, there are a couple that are changing it up. There is a Flashlight Egg Hunt on April 12 in Roswell, and a Flashlight Egg Hunt and Movie by Moonlight in Smyrna also on April 12.  A Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt is in Canton on April 19. If you haven’t been to a helicopter Easter Egg Drop – that is a great experience. Check out the one at Sprayberry High School in Marietta on April 19 where 90,000 eggs will be dispersed by the air for different age groups at different times.  Or, visit the helicopter drop  in Duluth at Rogers Bridge Park by the Influencers Church.  Here’s a unique twist on the hunt – underwater at the Cherokee Country Aquatic Center on April 12.

For Brunch, most of us have seen it all. But for a little extra, try the Magnolia Thomas House in Woodstock. Not only will they have an egg hunt for the little ones, but a petting zoo as well. And the food is outstanding.

Stop by Milton’s Cuisine &  Cocktails on either April 13 for Hop and Hunt Brunch or reserve your seat for their April 20 three course brunch. Click here for more details.

Enjoy your Easter holiday and be sure to share the Scoop! We’d love to know of any other unique happenings in OTP!
