After dining at Brookwood Grill in Roswell several times and then attending a company party in their back room, I understand why this restaurant has a great reputation and you want to return again. It is because they get all the parts of the dining experience correct. Brookwood Grill exceeds expectations in regards to taste, portion size, service, and atmosphere.Their take on American traditional food is just plain yummy! For lunch at one visit, I had a choice from TEN different and amazing salads. My girlfriend always says, “I hate making a salad just for me and adding all those fun things to it.” Every salad at Brookwood Grill has what she refers to as “fun ingredients” in them.
It was tough, but I chose the Peppercorn Seared Tuna Steak Salad with fresh mixed greens, candied walnuts, avocado, tomato, ginger, crispy noodles, mandarin oranges and topped with a light Dijon vinaigrette. If you aren’t a seafood fan, on another visit I chose the Wood Grilled Chicken salad with toasted almonds, warm bacon, cheese, avocado, tomato, European cucumbers, golden raisins, dried cranberries and a touch of honey mustard dressing. Are you salivating yet? I also had the black bean soup of the day, and it was superb. Check out their diverse menu.
For dinner, I have tried the scallops, wood grilled chicken, and the prime rib. If you want to substitute the mashed potatoes from one entrée for the broccoli assigned to your dish, just ask! Since I am not a food critic, all I can say is my plate was returned empty to the server.
The atmosphere of the restaurant with their famous piano bar, unique stacked stones, and hickory smoke smell is both elegant and relaxed. This is perfect for a business lunch, date night, or just a great place to impress visiting friends and family.
They have different events on their calendar from business networking to single nights. They offer complimentary hors d’oeuvers on Wednesday and Thursdays. And every Tuesday-Saturday night they have a live piano. Their Facebook page lists their most current bar specials.
You can come for brunch on Sunday, host a rehearsal dinner, have them cater your event, and they even have take home orders. They also offer a Glutten Free menu.
So, enjoy your experience at Brookwood Grill and tell them Scoop sent you!
