Blue Mist Cafe and Lounge in Marietta

Recently I stopped by the Blue Mist Café and Lounge on the Marietta square and was pleasantly surprised.

Located at 16 Atlanta Street across from Johnnie MacCracken’s Celtic Pub, Blue Mist quickly catches your eye with the soft blue glow of its decor. As you walk in you notice the clean lines and welcoming furniture just begging for you to sit down and enjoy the craft cocktails and small plates that Blue Mist has to offer.

Owner Frank Bagan describes his café’s taste as a Mediterranean tapas and wraps eatery accented with craft cocktails and an extensive beer and wine selection. The Blue Mistini is the cocktail of choice, which is made with a secret blend of vodka and vermouth that makes you want to buy another round for your table. Time your visit right and you will find this cocktail on special for $8. Increase your enjoyment by sharing the cheese plate appetizer as well as the freshly made hummus.

Maybe food and drinks aren’t your thing? Blue Mist is also a hookah bar with many selections for your pleasure.

On select nights you’ll find live jazz being played at a level where you can both enjoy the music and enjoy a conversation with your friends.

Blue Mist is a welcome addition to the growing Marietta square night life and will become one of the go-to places to relax and be seen in Cobb County. Recent patrons have rated it with a perfect score of 5-stars on Facebook reviews. Now that you know The Scoop, go see what all of the buzz is about!

Make sure to see what Jazz and Jokes will be coming to the lounge as they also have a Thursday night live series.

The restaurant recently opened this spring. Visit them 6pm-12am Tues, Wed, Sun, 6pm-1am Thurs-Sat and closed on Monday.
