Owner/operator Ross Byrne is a New York transplant who has followed his passion for cooking and baking for over 20 years now, and he’s brought his talent right here to Woodstock. The Best Dang Bakery has all of the traditional baked goodies you would expect to find, including doughnuts that weigh as much as a softball.
My personal favorite is his black and white cookie, which is soft and deliciously cake-like. And anytime I order ahead with Ross, more often than not I ask for some sort of modification; he is always more than cooperative in creating exactly what I need for a birthday or special event.
The Best Dang Bakery also offers Express Meals such as lasagna, pot-pies, chicken alfredo, and a personal favorite: homemade pierogies. All of these are premade and ready to go – a significantly better option than the drive thru, and so much tastier; they just need a little warming up! Stop in and say hey, tell them Scoop sent you!
