As the high school football teams start their scrimmage games under the Friday night lights, it also means that college and the professional teams are about to kick off the season.
Here’s a few events around town that may interest you:
Taco Mac is hosting a an event for fantasy football fanatics! Taco Mac has your back as fantasy draft season kicks off this August. Guests can now request reservations to host draft parties throughout the month.
Taco Mac will provide the venue, ample outlets for laptop and phone chargers, a free large queso or guacamole and a League Draft Kit, which includes a Taco Mac branded hat, a throwback Taco Mac T-Shirt, “Taco Mac Season Tickets”(exclusive discounts dated for each week of the football season), a championship ring for the group to give to the season winner in a ring display box and other items from Miller Lite and Terrapin.

Live! at the Battery Atlanta and its two staple venues: Sports & Social and PBR Atlanta to host Game Day LIVE! The college football celebration will take over the Battery for a day of tailgating festivities on September 8th from 12pm – 5pm.
This event is welcome to all schools, all fans, and all ages for a day of corn hole, BBQ, live music, and a parade welcoming all football lovers. Live! at The Battery will also be setting up a kids zone filled with face painting, tailgate themed games, and a football experience.
Live music will be taking place on the Battery Plaza along with an array of contests for football giveaways such as tickets to the big championship game at Mercedes Benz on December 1st.
Sports & Social will be showing the major games on their 32ft TV; making it the largest in the southeast. This mega sports complex has over 70 TV’s throughout, making it the most premier sports watching venue in Cobb county.

And of course, there is the Chick-fil-A kickoff game between Washington Huskies and Auburn Tigers at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Tickets are still available.
This year there have tailgate town built by The Home Depot. It is the ultimate free pre-game tailgate destination for fans. This outdoor fan experience features interactive sponsor displays, live entertainment, contests, games and more.
