A busy corner in Milton that was previously home to Wilbur & Rudy’s will soon be home to a new restaurant — 7 Acre BarnGill, who is self described as simple, genuine food, mostly from around here, for people who like to EAT and DRINK WELL!
Chris Sedgwick of Sedgwick Restaurant Group, Pure Taqueria, Made Kitchen + Cocktails, The Union, is partnering with long-time Operating Manager for all Sedgwick Group restaurants and friend, Mix McCrory, Chef and owner Urbane in Roswell (2007-2009), to open an their new concept restaurant, 7Acre BarnGrill. The projected date for opening is November 2018. Joining the team is Chef Jake Ihara, formerly of Bon Appetite Los Angeles. Casual, comfortable vibe, full bar, daily menu specials, home-made pies and desserts. The menu will consist of fresh, light, clean, comfort-style cooking, with a focus on supporting local purveyors.
The restaurant, aptly named for the 7 acre space it will be housed on, is conveniently close to the new home for Matilda’s outdoor music venue. The combination of the two new businesses in this area will bring some much needed revitalization to this residential intersection in Milton.
